With 8 pattern slots, 4 sample slots, and a ridiculously deep dual-envelope editor, it turns classic cuts, crabs, and tears into repeatable, tempo-locked riffs—or gloriously wrong noises on purpose.

2. In Pattern 1, sketch a Saw envelope: forward → quick reverse → forward.

3. Draw Fader plateaus with the Pencil to make clean cuts.

4. Hit the Drop tool on a short slice for a punchy on-grid stab.

5. Tweak Momentum (both envelopes) for glide; set a touch of Release for spring-back realism.

6. Duplicate to Pattern 2, change only the Fader shape → instant call & response.

Producer tips

• Mono sums better: scratches are transient-rich; avoid phasey stereo FX before printing.

• Parallel bus: duplicate track, distort/bitcrush the scratch hard, blend under the clean.

• Velocity tricks: map note velocity to overall pattern scale for dynamic “hard vs soft” cuts.

• Arrangement glue: commit a few signature patterns as one-bar renders—sample yourself like a crate.
