What it is: A boutique virtual instrument that reimagines acoustic guitars—not for realism, but for cinematic texture. Built from processed pad layers and natural nylon/steel recordings, it offers three performance modes that turn a familiar instrument into an expressive scoring tool.

Core idea
Instead of chasing “perfect guitar,” Lumo blends organic plucks with time-stretched atmospheres and granular delays—ideal for modern film cues, ambient writing, art-pop intros, or trailer beds.
Modes (nylon & steel sets)
Envolving – Two octaves triggered with randomized timing, stretched to extremes for slow-motion pads and evolving blooms.
Natural – A realistic acoustic patch with extended range that edges into other plucked-string territories (harp/psaltery vibes).
Particles – Single notes diffused through delay + granular processing for glittering trails and motion.
Why it works in a score
Immediate emotion: long, breathing sustains without synth sterility.
Organic detail: string transients + mechanical nuances survive the processing.

Quick-start recipes
Slow-burn pad (Envolving): Hold triads, automate low-pass from 6–10 kHz over 8–16 bars; add 20–30% plate reverb, pre-delay 25 ms.
Hybrid ostinato (Natural): 120 BPM eighths with soft velocity; notch ~300–400 Hz if dense mix; a touch of tape delay for width.
Shimmer trails (Particles): Send to a long hall (7–10 s), compress return 2:1 for sustain, pan delays L/R with slightly different times.
Production tips
Layer nylon + steel for complementary mid/hi detail.
Sidechain the pad to your percussion/low strings for clarity.
Print the tails: render Particles to audio and reverse or time-slice for transitions.
